App crashes and stopped connecting to alarm clock out of nowhere

Dumb app

We have two ihomes in the house and I connected the wrong one and now I can’t figure out how to disconnect other I wanted to connect mine to the app this is ridiculous I’m very frustrated and angry I tried almost everything

Can I give less than 1 star please?!

Horrible app with an even worse device, will NEVER purchase iHome product again.

App won’t look for device

My ihome easily pairs with my phone via Bluetooth however this app will not recognize any devices and so it is completely useless.

Constantly unpairs and won’t re-pair

I love the clock and sound machine. But the app is when it works is good, but it won’t stay paired with phone and next to impossible to get it reconnected once lost

Clock

I love this clock but it has a problem. It automatically changes to Bluetooth and the numbers fade on a regular basis. I don’t know what to do to stop this.

paired with device

i really enjoy this app because i have the sound machine paired to my bluetooth. it’s great for sounds, an alarm clock, radio, lights and more. the controls are easy and the app is simple to use. really love this app and device and would highly recommend.

Radio doesn’t stay set???

This app is still terrible. If I’d known how bad it was I wouldn’t have purchased the alarm clock that goes with it. FIX THIS APP. The alarm function works but a radio station won’t stay set on an actual station. No matter how many times I try to set the alarm station, it goes back to a random(?) 105.1 which is no station at all and I wake to static. Please fix your app.

Use to love this app

I used this app for years. iPhone 10 or new iPhones this app will not let you pair ihome products with app via blue tooth

Garbage, wish it worked

Wish it wasn’t garbage, will be returning it to the store. The app, if it worked even mildly well, would make this a 5 star product. I couldn’t even get to the set up device page.. For anyone that cares that’s half of all available options on the main screen. The other button leads you to the ihome store page, that one works.. Sadly this product is a missed opportunity.

This app is complete trash. The alarm clock is great but save yourself a lot of headaches and just learn to program the clock itself. Trust me!

Same issue as everyone else

I bought this alarm a couple years ago with high hopes. It took me forever to finally use it though due to looking so intimidating with all the buttons. I finally decided to give it a whirl a few weeks ago and was so excited to see that I can set my alarm via an app. That excitement soon fizzled out when, after the first few days, my Zenergy alarm would no longer sync with my phone. I saw the developer response to another reviewer suggesting to hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds to reboot, but when I tried that it just made things worse. Super bummed cause of how expensive this alarm is only to be frustrated each night trying to set it. I definitely expected more from an Apple product.

I love the idea of the alarm clock and waking up to peaceful sounds and light However the app almost never works and there is no way of setting the alarm without the app. For the love of all things good please please update your app and fix all that is very broken!

Good but bad

So this app is nice when it actually works. 90% of the time it dosent connect to my speaker after trying for up to 10 minutes.

From great to awful

I have had my device for years and have loved it. However, the app has not kept up. As of today, I can no longer pair my device to the app. Why? Why did you allow your app to fall so low? Did you see the falling rating and decide to give up? This app was amazing at one point. Lack of attention to the app and those who use it has resulted in its fall.

I can’t pair my salt lamp

I can’t set it up, my screen for sure does not look like the ones above and I don’t know why. I’ve looked up someone setting it up and it isn’t the salt lamp that I have purchased.

Please fix your product

After owning for a few months I’ve carefully determined that this alarm clock has amazing potential but in reality is horrible to actually own. WAY to many bugs and issues to make it even slightly convenient.

Hey Devs... the app isn’t working for anybody...

App no longer connects to my device

I set up my iHome two days ago and it will connect to my Bluetooth/phone just fine, but this app no longer recognizes my device. I can no longer change or update any of my settings through the app. The first day I used the app was difficult as well due to the constant resets the app caused every time I changed the window I was on or closed the app. None of the settings I tried to make saved, nor did it allow me to make changes easily. This app is very difficult to use and makes me not want to use this device.

Terrible App

The app is absolutely terrible. It has not been updated and never works. What’s the point of a Bluetooth device if you can’t use it? I am only able to turn the sounds/lights on manually on the clock and am unable to use half the features because of this. Waste of money.

Clock is amazing...app is lacking

The app itself would be incredible if it worked properly...looks as if they gave up on it...Bluetooth is extremely patchy and in order to stream music you must connect to the clock with Bluetooth and the app with Bluetooth? Probably the reason it doesn’t work well...don’t think your phone is meant to connect to two devices at ounce....app definitely needs work...it would really be nice to control from phone

Worst app ever

For as much as I paid for the Zenergy, you’d think the app would work. I mean - how hard is it for the app to turn on a light and play the soothing sounds it’s supposed to? I spend more time trying to get the dang thing to work that I do actually falling asleep. I love the Zenergy but hate the app.

Pain in my app

For a clock that promotes wellness and relaxation, they sure do have one of the most frustrating apps on the market. If they valued their product, they would invest is an app that is reliable, user friendly, and on brand. Total garbage.

Clock is great, app is terrible

The app is so slow and glitchy. It takes minutes to turn on the alarm via the app or crashes on you. It’s difficult to use the clock without the app. I wouldn’t get this until the app version has been updated!

Why not fix the App?

Hey, DEVELOPER RESPONSE Automaton, instead of responding to unhappy reviewers with complicated work-arounds and hollow apologies, maybe you could fix the F’n App. I’ve had the Zenergy for THREE YEARS. The App has never, ever worked. Because of that, I never use the product. The App is simply unusable. I come back every six months to see if you ever bothered to do anything. But, nope. Instead of responding, FIX THE APP!

Doesn’t work

This app doesn’t work. It won’t let me set my ihome mini up at all. I can connect to Bluetooth but this app is a complete waste.

It doesn’t work

I’ve always loved iHome products and purchased my iHome sleep/alarm clock. The app doesn’t work. I shouldn’t have to re-pair the clock and my i phone all the time. Every day there is something that the iHome won’t do. Turn on, change the sounds and lighting, turn on or off the alarm clock, etc. in fact, right now I can’t get my favorite morning sounds and lighting to turn on. I’ve been working with my iHome for months thinking that I just had to learn how it works because iHome has great product and they wouldn’t sell a product that doesn’t work. I’ve tried to reach support through the app and it doesn’t seem to work either. I’m so disappointed that they haven’t fixed the app. This experience has made me less likely to purchase anything made by iHome.

Switched iPhones

I love using this alarm. I have the iPhone and iHome paired using my new phone, unfortunately it is stuck on the main screen where you click set up device and I can’t get anything to go

If I could give it minus points I would.

This is the worst app ever, the product itself is also so-so. I got it as a gift from my mom in law otherwise I would’ve returned it a long time ago. The app itself is always glitching up and it not useful at all. I cannot even play music anymore for some reason- it worked once or twice in the past and all of a sudden it’s impossible to use it for that. Yes, it is connected to my phone and it still doesn’t work. Oh and I have two Zenergy devices in my home and they both don’t work properly. So be smart and see if you really like it before the date for the return process ends.

Works fine... I wonder if folks are connecting to the wrong Bluetooth name

App seems like it doesn’t work at first if you are connected to the wrong Bluetooth name. There’s two that appear in the iPhone Bluetooth settings and I’m not sure why. App works fine though!

App stopped working

I loved this until the app randomly stopped working a while back (and not long after I got it)! I’ve contacted customer service several times and nothing is working to restore it. The Bluetooth won’t sync (have to manually set the clock and alarms, etc.) and my phone won’t even show up in the app anymore. Really really disappointed and annoyed!!!! (I think this is my first negative review of anything ever!)

Horrible app. Great alarm clock

This has got to be THE worst app I’ve ever used. It rarely works properly....it rarely works at all!! But I LOVE this alarm and the many features. I like it so much I bought one for both of my daughters that have problems falling asleep. They also love the alarm clock. They’ve had them for a week and have yet to open this app and have the app actually work.

This is a bad product and you should be ashamed

On top of the common problems that one has with this product (glitchy Bluetooth, arbitrary disconnect problems, developer solutions that more or less include ‘try doing the thing you have already said doesn’t work’ and ‘turn off the lock function on your phone to prevent the screen from going out and thus disconnecting our glitchy app’) now I am in a situation where Bluetooth audio is not being transferred to the device. I can only assume this is a problem with the app, as the device itself will play audio if it’s auxed in, my phone will connect and play on other devices fine, and the app is the aforementioned piece of work. I am very disappointed and will never purchase another iHome device again, and will be advising friends and family to do the same

Simply doesn't work.

No matter how many times I try to pair the app with my iPhone X it simply doesn't work. It doesn't show up on the app whatsoever but it will connect to my phone through Bluetooth regularly. I've done every troubleshooting step possible and the ihome zenergy app is a sad excuse and might as well be taken off the app store.

Zenergy App is Worthless

Every single time I try to set up through the app on my iPad or iPhone it pairs but then won’t open in the app for any setup! Frustrating when the device itself is wonderful.

i feel im being a bit generous giving two stars but i dont care. the product is really cool, has cool functions and is just what i want/need. the app, however is like a lump of garbage compared to the actual product. the app barely functions, is slow, and sometimes just doesnt even work. maybe its just not compatible with newer ios updates? i dont know, all im asking is that you fix all these bugs so the money spent on this wasnt a waste, please?

Cannot connect

I spent a solid hour trying to connect my IZBT7 to the app and I never could connect. Any tips?

This is the slowest app I have ever downloaded.

Disappointed

I honestly hoped that with all these outdated horrible reviews that the company would get its act together and surely fix the app by 2020. As wonderful as the clock is when it works, having the app malfunction kills the experience. For whatever reason, the app continues to load and will not activate the features when I ask them to. Great product, but simply not the same experience without the app. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Hmm

Apparently The have just given up on fixing this app. I just bought the zenergy and was so excited to use it to its fullest ability but the app won’t even pair with my device. Very frustrating.

No updates and app won’t respond

I’ve tried using the app to use the sleep timer for two weeks and it just spins. Won’t allow me to use it with or without WiFi which makes it difficult to use across the room. Please fix it!
